The Team
Annie Blackwood, founder and lead designer of Hudson House Interiors, has over seven years of experience. Annie brings an intuitive eye, a love of color and pattern, and a thoughtful understanding of how people truly live in their spaces.
Her path to design was shaped early by her mom, who remains one of her greatest inspirations and most trusted creative sounding boards. Whether joining Annie at market, hunting for vintage treasures, or weighing in on a new design direction, Annie’s mom is a constant sidekick in the Hudson House story — and a big part of why Annie fell in love with interiors in the first place.
Annie’s design approach is refined and unexpected, creating interiors that feel collected rather than overly prescribed. She believes every home should tell a story — one shaped by the people who live there, the architecture that surrounds them, and the details that make a space feel joyful, comfortable, and entirely one-of-a-kind.
Annie can usually be found in and out of the the office with her dog Folly close by and her husband Hudson, who occasionally moonlights as her assistant designer by making the very difficult decision of lamp option one versus lamp option two. They are a great asset to the team.
